Cancellation Policy
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
48 hour advance notice is required when canceling or rescheduling a treatment service. All cancellation/reschedule requests must be submitted by text/call or email 845.597.9499, exhaleskinbar@gmail.com, otherwise you will be responsible for a cancellation fee. Kindly be advised that we do not monitor communications on our social media accounts daily, so all requests may be missed and you will be responsible for the full cancellation fee. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 48 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
To limit cancellations, please read the confirmation email sent at the time of scheduling the appointment. This email lists details on how to prepare for your treatment. If you receive a contradictive treatment (deep laser treatments, botox, filler, injections, etc) and must cancel your treatment with Exhale Skin Bar within less than 48 hours, you will be subject to a 100% fee.
Consultations
Consultations are non-refundable, and pre-payment is required to schedule. All consultations fees for virtual and in-person act as a deposit for all Exhale Skin Bar services. We ask that you only schedule a consultation when you are positive you can attend. All forms and photos are required to be submitted prior to your virtual or in-person consultation. $125 goes towards skin care products, and must be decided which products the payment will go towards at the end of the 30 minute consultation. Otherwise you will lose the $125 credit.
Complimentary follow up consultation appointments are highly recommended and will be scheduled after the initial consultation. All complimentary consults are via FaceTime or Zoom.
It is the clients responsibility to attend the follow up consultations otherwise the Aestheticians obligation to provide guidance is voided. If a client does not respond within 6 months of the initial consult, a new consultation along with a full deposit fee will be required.
No Shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged the full regular treatment price for their “missed” appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your Aesthetician and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Loyalty Program
Join our loyalty program to earn points and redeem towards perks. Spend on services, gift cards, or skin care products and tools and earn rewards towards redeeming skin perks. Points must be used & redeemed within 12 months, otherwise they are no longer valid.
Rewards may only be redeemed by the loyalty program holder, cannot combine with other loyalty participants. Gift card purchasers will receive points towards their loyalty program, not the gift card recipient. While supplies lasts, not all products are eligible for shipping, and may need to be picked up in person, while others are shipping only. Free and discounted products/services/tools are subject to change without notice, no cash value, no returns, no transfers. If products are purchased or skin services are paid for and refunded then points are reversed. Suspicious activity will not be tolerated, and accounts will be subject to cancelation. Service Times
Please note 60 minute treatments are 50 minutes hands-on, and 30 minute treatments are 20 minutes hands-on unless otherwise specified.
Refunds
Pre-payment of services, packages, series, and gift cards are non-refundable. Pre-payment of a service which are not rendered will grant a credit towards your account for that dollar amount to be used towards a service (no merchandise), must be redeemed within 1 year. Pre-payment of classes or virtual classes are non-refundable, must be used at the designated class time, and do not grant a credit towards your account. Gift cards to subject to expire after 1 year. All gift cards are available for service treatments only.
Once shipped, skin care products purchased are not eligible for a refund or exchange. If there is a severe circumstance, we will assess the situation and determine the outcome at that time.
Virtual and in-person consultations are non-refundable and act as a deposit for all Exhale Skin Bar services.
Disclaimer
Advice and professional services should not be taken as a medical diagnosis or treatment. Prior to any professional or at-home treatment or skin regimen you should consult with a Physician. Please request a list of contraindications prior to any treatment, and you will be allowed to cancel or reschedule any appointment due to a medical issue. All pregnant or breast feeding women are required to receive and bring proof of a doctor's note prior to any service, or the service will need to be rescheduled at 100% cost of the client.
By booking with Exhale Skin Bar and its members you agree to an administered professional service. You agree to leave a card on file, and are required to update it when expired. You agree that if you cancel or reschedule under 48 hours prior to your treatment, no-show, or are late to be charged the full priced treatment amount. Every precaution is taken to ensure your safety, and to provide you with the best result. Although very rare, it's possible an unforeseen reaction can stem from receiving a service, using new professional products, or potent ingredients. For extra precaution, an intake history form is required, and professional analysis is performed. It is required that you write down and verbalize any past skin reactions, or current allergies, medical conditions, and issues you have or may disrupt the result of your service. By booking a treatment, you agree to hold harmless Exhale Home Spa LLC d/b/a Exhale Skin Bar and its members of any damage to property, or persons. You acknowledge the risks of a professional treatment, and understand that every service is done with intent and not neglect. By booking a treatment you agree to forego your rights to a legal case, and agree to pay any and all legal fee's brought upon the defendant from the original case or a counter sue.
